Roslyn St

Roslyn St is an award winning significant addition to the Sydney architectural landscape and is a feature curved building on a unique triangular site in inner city Kings Cross. The four storey commercial building is a showcase of how reinforced concrete can be used to create complex three dimensional curved forms while retaining a smooth robust and low maintenance surface, tile finished in this case.

Steel plate box windows and awnings are featured and this building site was incredibly challenging with the structure built to the boundary on all three sides. The double curved top of the building was constructed using shotcrete sprayed reinforced concrete and partially hidden behind is the substantial rooftop garden with thriving mature trees and planting.
