A series of concrete and brass sculptures within a high school in Melbourne – SDA provided critical structural advice during iterative design process in close collaboration with the artist, in order to ensure the adequacy of the final design in relation to in situ usage considerations, buildability, artistic intent and cost.
Advice was provided on strength and stiffness of brass/bronze rod, concrete reinforcement, foundations, and connections between different components
