Sub – base Platypus

The former submarine base located in North Sydney was rejuvenated with new parklands, public spaces and adaptive reuse of former industrial buildings. The buildings house new office, food and benerage a nd commercial spaces.

The heritage of the site was preserved through sensitive adaptation of the buildings and sympathetic additions. A breathtaking cliff-top walk cantilevers over the site and provides a bird’s eye view of the sprawling harbor front site.
