Cowper Street Housing

This project is a series of 5 new terrace townhouses uniquely designed as a reference to the inner city terrace housing which defines the area, with an excavated basement for parking, set below the 3 storey townhouses. A feature of the structure is the clever use of the concrete dividing walls as deep beams to reduce floor structural depth and maximise floor to ceiling heights. A post tensioned concrete transfer level of the basement was incorporated and rooftop external deck areas are included privately to each of the townhouses.
