The upgrade works to Brookvale Oval have been negotiated with the multiple stakeholders of Northern Beaches Council and the Manly Sea Eagles with construction works staged over three NRL off season periods to include new change rooms, corporate box facilities, amenities and media room building. The final and most significant stage included a new grandstand extension building to the North East which included 1400 new undercover seats beneath an 11.0m cantilever precast concrete roof frame, new toilets, catering and bar facilities and a function / community room.
SDA provided Structural and Civil Engineering services for the project and conducted extensive reporting and structural analysis on the older sections of the existing stands to ensure their continued performance.
