SDA employs innovative and creative Structural Design Engineers and Technicians.
We are a dynamic practice involved in the design and construction of a diverse range of buildings including public buildings, high-rise developments, retail complexes and unique architectural residences.
Our engineers collaborate with clients, architects, builders and other design professionals and take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.
The buildings we design are often complex and detailed so the solutions we produce are rigorous and elegant, utilising the latest design software to analyse structural behaviour and materials such as timber, steel, concrete, glass and composites.
We have a philosophical approach to ESD and sustainability principles and are always willing to explore options to utilise ideals in the built environment we are responsible for.
Our working environment is progressive and relaxed; we encourage original ideas and reward creative thinking. We encourage professional development by attendance at training seminars, peer reviews and mentoring by senior members of staff.
In parallel, as it all not about work, SDA’s social activities include regular cycling events, rowing, in house Friday lunches, sporting and team building events and the regular Xmas adventure activity.
