Lavender Bay House

A striking and structurally challenging new residence overlooking Sydney Harbour Bridge, Lavender Bay House reveals structural arch forms at every opportunity. Durbach Block Jaggers imagined a sculpted form set into a deep rock excavation that maximises the world class views across the harbour and sets them beneath a series of concrete and stone arches.

This project won the Excellence in Structural Engineering Award 2021 for the attention to detail and structural challenges that are resolved in finished visual forms on this building. This is a project we are very proud of.
